We’ve all worked earth in our hands, on the land or in the studio, and we know the touch of fired clay, both with and without supple glazes.  This “body knowledge” invites tactile as well as visual responses to the ceramic works of art in Soaring Voices.  The intimate arena offers remarkable emotional attunement between the artist and viewer and envelopes cultural specificity. You are likely to laugh, nod, sigh, or gasp in awe of sheer technical brilliance, as well as sense a common respect for earth, fire, and color.
